Terms of Use

1. What Jy Connect does

We connect job seekers with companies that need Japanese-language skills. We are an intermediary. We do not employ you, we do not decide who a company hires, and we cannot promise an interview, a job offer or a particular salary.

2. Free for job seekers

Using Jy Connect is free for job seekers. We never ask job seekers for fees. Report anyone who does.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Give true and current information, and keep one account only.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Your information and files

• You confirm that the information and files you give us are yours, accurate and not misleading.
• Your JLPT level and certificate must be genuine. We may ask for proof and may mark a level as verified. A false or altered document can lead to removal of your account.

5. Acceptable use

Do not: give false information; pretend to be someone else; upload harmful or unlawful content; copy or collect data from the site by automated means; try to break into or disturb the site; or use other people's information.

6. Applications

When you apply, you agree that we may pass your application and related information to the company of that job, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please attend interviews you accept, or tell us in advance if you cannot.

7. Our rights

We may change, pause or stop any part of the site. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or are used to cause harm.

8. No warranty and limits on liability

The site is provided "as is". Companies are responsible for their own hiring decisions, working conditions and pay. We are not responsible for disputes between you and a company. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Myanmar.
